SAID ABOUT HEDI EL ABED:
"Hedi El Abed is considered as one of the most important painters who penetrated deeply into the pivots of painting and delt with PlasticArt in a way that is different to other european painters"
"He is high-sprited artist whose only weapon is love and faithfullness to art: Arts for the Art´s sake"
"He is the ambassador who unites with his art East and West"
"His paintings seems ambigius at first sight but you soon penetrate into their depths in an infinite voyage"
"Many art critics pointed to the existence in Hedi El Abed´s painting as a fixed rythm. The latter sometimes faints and something rises but it remains with a noticed presence in all his master pieces. In fact, it is the rythm of light with all the magic and glamour it encompasses"
"When you look to Hedi El Abed´s works you realize
that manyof the colors used by the painter are used with sand. You feel
that the artiststarts from only one color and that the latter stores
many other colors andit acquires shapes with the lights and shades. It
is an element that is stronglypresent in many of his paintings and it makes
the public feel the need totouchthe painting and pass the hand over it.
Indeed sand is like water that incites the touch and stimulates
the senses"
